Reds manager Bryan Price said Saturday that team hasn't decided who the fifth starter will be to begin the season, MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

It was reported last week that Iglesias would be the placeholder for Homer Bailey (forearm) in the rotation to begin the year, but apparently the Reds haven't set anything in stone. Iglesias struggled against the Brewers on Friday, giving up two home runs in the first inning, and he's been inconsistent throughout spring training. Meanwhile, Mike Lorenzen, the other top option for the fill-in job, has posted a 1.64 ERA in 11 spring innings, albeit with more walks (8) than strikeouts (7). Cincinnati doesn't need a fifth starter until April 12, and Price said the team may "do a lot of finagling with the roster before that." When asked if Iglesias will eventually go to the bullpen or to Triple-A to develop as a starter, Price said, "I imagine he might be a little of both this year, and where he does it, I just don't know yet."
