LEADING OFF: Russell Wilson back in the pocket with Rangers
A look at what's happening around spring training in Florida and Arizona today:
---
IN THE POCKET
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will be at camp with the Texas Rangers in Surprise, Arizona. Wilson played infield for two seasons in the minors with Colorado before the Rangers acquired him. Wilson spent a day in camp with Texas last spring, but didn't get into a game.
ALL SET
Stephen Strasburg starts for Washington vs. the Mets in Port St. Lucie, Florida. He missed his last start because of a twisted left ankle. Strasburg will likely go four innings.
ANOTHER TRY
Garrett Richards will pitch five innings for the Los Angeles Angels in a minor league game. He was 13-4 for the AL West champs last year before a knee injury ended his season in late August. The Angels were hoping to activate him on April 12, but he felt some fatigue after his previous outing.
ALMOST THERE
Athletics outfielder Coco Crisp is expected to return to the lineup this weekend after receiving a cortisone shot earlier in the week for a sore elbow.
