Viera, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Matt Reynolds drove in three runs to power the New York Mets to an 8-3 spring training victory over the Washington Nationals on Thursday.

Reynolds crushed a solo home run and hit an RBI double during a four-run eighth inning for the Mets, who had Juan Lagares and Matt den Dekker also homer.

Starter Matt Bowman gave up just two hits and one walk, while striking out four batters over five scoreless innings.

Michael Taylor and Clint Robinson each provided RBI doubles and Nationals starter Gio Gonzalez allowed just two hits and three walks with five strikeouts in five frames.
