MLB Game Summary - Minnesota at Boston

Fort Myers, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - David Ortiz returned to the lineup for the first time since March 16 and the Boston Red Sox walked off with a 5-4 win over the Minnesota Twins on Thursday.

Ortiz went 0-for-3, striking out in his first at-bat, but had an RBI on a ground out in the third inning. He had been out as he battled dehydration and general soreness.

Rusney Castillo gave Boston the win with a solo homer in the 10th inning.

Xander Bogaerts went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Red Sox, who saw starting pitcher Wade Miley allow three runs on four hits over six frames. He struck out four and walked one.

Oswaldo Arcia went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored and Eduardo Escobar homered for the Twins.

Minnesota starting pitcher Tommy Milone allowed three runs on six hits over five innings.
