MLB Game Summary - Detroit at NY Yankees

Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Ramon Flores belted a three-run homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning that sent the New York Yankees to a 9-8 Grapefruit League win over the Detroit Tigers.

The Yankees trailed 8-5 before scoring four times off Rafael Dolis in the ninth. John Ryan Murphy's RBI single inched New York closer and Ali Castillo drew a walk in front of Flores' game-winning blast to right.

Mark Teixeira and Didi Gregorius had RBI doubles earlier for the Yankees, with Carlos Beltran also driving in a run and Teixeira finishing 2-for-2.

Ian Kinsler and J.D. Martinez each came through with two RBI during a four-run second inning for Detroit. Yoenis Cespedes went 2-for-4 with one RBI, while Anibal Sanchez held the Yankees to two runs and four hits over the first five innings.

Yankees starter Esmil Rogers was tagged for five runs, though just one was earned, on five hits and a pair of walks through three innings of work.
