Hyun-Jin Ryu: (Shoulder) No Structural Damage

No structural damage was seen with Ryu's shoulder and he was prescribed two-to-three weeks of rest before he resumes throwing, CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports.

Analysis:

It's obviously still concerning, as he will certainly miss his first turn through the rotation, and may need a rehab start or two before joining the rotation following his period of rest. He should continue to be discounted in drafts, but he should not be completely ignored, as there is a chance he could slot back into the mix in late April. As of now, Juan Nicasio and Joe Wieland might be the Dodgers' best in-house options to replace Ryu in the rotation to start the season.
