Analysis:

It was Johnson's first bullpen session since undergoing Tommy John surgery 11 months ago, and he appears to be progressing well. The mound work is another step in the right direction and barring any setbacks, the 31-year-old appears to be on track to return to major league action around the end of May or beginning of June.
