MLB Game Summary - San Francisco at Texas

Surprise, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Travis Ishikawa went 3-for-4 with a two-run triple to lead an offensive barrage that carried the San Francisco Giants to a 12-3 win over the Texas Rangers in spring training action.

Brandon Crawford, Juan Perez and Jarrett Parker also knocked in a pair of runs in the rout, with Perez finishing 2-for-3 and Gary Brown adding a solo homer for the Giants.

Much of San Francisco's damage came against Rangers starter Nick Tepesch, who was walloped for seven runs and seven hits while recording just four outs.

Texas, meanwhile, didn't have a baserunner until the fifth inning as Yusmeiro Petit and Adalberto Mejia combined to retire the first 12 Ranger hitters. Kyle Crick then yielded just one hit over the next 2 2/3 innings.

Jake Smolinski belted a solo homer and Jared Hoying had an RBI double for Texas.
