MLB Game Summary - Chicago White Sox at San Diego

Peoria, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Matt Kemp produced his first hits and RBI in a Padres uniform in San Diego's 5-0 Cactus League victory over the Chicago White Sox.

Kemp, one of several high-profile acquisitions of the new-look Padres this offseason, singled in his first at-bat of the day and later drove in a run with a fifth-inning base hit as part of a 2-for-3 effort.

Odrisamer Despaigne and Brandon Morrow, competing for a spot in San Diego's rotation, both tossed two scoreless innings.

Carlos Rodon and Matt Albers threw two shutout frames for Chicago, while Avisail Garcia accounted for two of the White Sox' eight hits.
