Mike Minor: (Shoulder) To Visit Dr. James Andrews

Minor (shoulder) will visit Dr. James Andrews next week to determine the extent of his left shoulder injury, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

Minor was scratched from his scheduled outing Sunday due to tightness in his shoulder, and the need for a trip to see Dr. Andrews is never a good sign. However, at least it's a shoulder issue instead of an elbow, which would have made him -- like many Dr. Andrews patients -- a candidate for Tommy John surgery.
