Josh Reddick went 3-for-3 and drove in two runs, Bryan Anderson supplied two RBI, Mark Canha homered and Jesse Chavez earned the win after tossing two scoreless innings for Oakland, which recorded 17 hits.

Buster Posey brought in both of the Giants' runs with a double during the third inning and starter Jake Peavey was tagged with the loss after giving up two runs on four hits in an inning of work.
