MLB Game Summary - Philadelphia at NY Yankees

Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Odubel Herrera went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and scored two runs as the Philadelphia Phillies topped the New York Yankees 3-1 in Alex Rodriguez's spring training debut.

Rodriguez, who missed all of last season due to a PED suspension, batted second and served as the designated hitter on Wednesday.

He singled off Phillies starter Kevin Slowey in the first inning, grounded into a fielder's choice to end the third and drew a walk to load the bases in the sixth before being taken out for a pinch runner.

Cord Phelps hit an RBI single off the Yankees' Nathan Eovaldi in the second. Acquired in an offseason trade with the Miami Marlins, Eovaldi gave up two hits in his two-inning start.
