MLB Game Summary - NY Yankees at Philadelphia

Clearwater, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Aaron Judge's three-run home run in the ninth inning helped the New York Yankees play to a 5-5 tie against the Philadelphia Phillies in the Grapefruit League opener for both teams on Tuesday.

Jake Cave, who scored on Judge's homer, also had an RBI infield single in the ninth, as the Yankees overcame a 5-1 deficit. Jacoby Ellsbury and Brett Gardner went a combined 0-for-6 for New York, which saw Slade Heathcott and Greg Bird get two hits apiece.

Ryan Howard went 2-for-2 with an RBI for the Phillies.

Adam Warren started for the Yankees and allowed one hit over two innings.

Philadelphia starter David Buchanan allowed one run on five hits in two innings of work.

New York's Alex Rodriguez did not play and is expected to make his exhibition debut on Wednesday.
