Dunedin, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Elias Diaz, Pedro Alvarez and Jung Ho Kang homered in the Pittsburgh Pirates' 8-7 win over the Toronto Blue Jays in Grapefruit League action.

Alvarez went 2-for-3 with four RBI for the Pirates, who got two scoreless innings from starter Casey Sadler.

Kevin Pillar hit a two-run homer for the Blue Jays, who got two RBI from Josh Thole.

Russell Martin went 1-for-3 in his Blue Jays debut. Martin spent the past two seasons in Pittsburgh before signing a five-year contract with Toronto in November.

Toronto starter Aaron Sanchez allowed five runs -- two earned -- on four hits over 1 1/3 innings.
