Logan indicated that while he's still experiencing a little bit of stiffness in his elbow, he's close to 100 percent healthy heading into spring training, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

General manager Jeff Bridich suggested about a month earlier that Logan was fully healthy following September surgery to remove a bone spur, but it looks like he could be limited in a few drills in the first couple weeks of spring training. It would likely be mostly out of precautionary purposes than anything, as the Rockies certainly aren't of mind to rush Logan back to the mound after arm injuries torpedoed his first season in Denver. The lefty still has two years remaining on his lucrative three-year, $16.6 million deal, and the Rockies are hoping that with better health in 2015, he'll reemerge as a key setup man for closer LaTroy Hawkins.
