Rosario lost his arbitration case against the Rockies and will make $2.8 million for the 2015 season, the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Rosario struggled offensively in 2014, batting just .267/.305/.435 with 13 home runs and 54 RBI over 106 games. He worked out at first base and in the outfield during the Rockies' academy in the Dominican Republic, and could end up losing his job behind the plate due to his defensive woes and drop in production (along with the addition of Nick Hundley). He will need show a improvement at the plate in spring training to earn himself more playing time, but he also could wind up as a utility man in 2015, limiting his at-bats and his fantasy value.
