Report: Rays sign Ronald Belisario to minor-league deal; nearing pact with Alexi Casilla

Ronald Belisario has found a new home for the 2015 season.

The right-hander has signed a minor-league contract with the Tampa Bay Rays, reports Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times.

Belisario previously had agreed to a similar pact with the Toronto Blue Jays, but the deal fell through for unknown reasons.

The reliever posted a career-worst 5.56 ERA with a 1.45 WHIP over 62 appearances for the Chicago White Sox.

Topkin also reports the Rays are likely to sign infielder Alexi Casilla.
