Elias (elbow) is expected to be ready for spring training, CBS Sports reports.
Analysis:
Elias is no longer suffering from the elbow soreness that cost him the final two weeks of the season and forced him to shut down his throwing program in October. The 26-year-old posted a 3.85 ERA in 29 starts in his first season in the majors in 2014, and after completing a throwing program over the offseason, he should be in line to compete for a spot in the starting rotation in the spring.
