Fien and the Twins avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $1.375 million deal Friday, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Analysis:
Fien is a bit prone to allowing home runs, but he posted a superb walk rate in 2014 (1.4 BB/9) and managed to improve his velocity from the previous year. He should be one of Minnesota's lead bullpen pitchers in 2015.
