Dodgers reach 1-year deals with Jansen, Nicasio and Turner

LOS ANGELES - Pitchers Kenley Jansen and Juan Nicasio and infielder Justin Turner have agreed to one-year deals with the Los Angeles Dodgers, avoiding arbitration.

Jansen will earn $7,425,000 after making $4.3 million last season, when he had 44 saves and a 2.76 ERA. Nicasio will earn $2.3 million after making $2,025,000 last year, when he was 6-6 with a 5.38 ERA for Colorado. Turner will get $2.5 million after earning $1,275,000 last season, when he hit .340 with 43 RBI and seven home runs.

Friday's deals came a day after new outfielder Chris Heisey agreed to a $2.16 million, one-year deal. He made $1.76 million with Cincinnati last season.
