Kenley Jansen: Agrees To Deal With Dodgers

Jansen and the Dodgers avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $7.425 million contract Friday, Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times reports.

Analysis:

While Jansen was not as dominant last season as he was the previous two seasons, he was still one of the top closers in the game in 2014 with 44 saves and 101 strikeouts in 65.1 innings. He is locked in as the Dodgers' closer for 2015.
