Blue Jays sign Ryan Kalish to minor-league deal

The Toronto Blue Jays added some outfield depth Wednesday, signing Ryan Kalish to a minor-league deal that includes an invite to spring training.
Kalish is a career .245/.293/.350 hitter over parts of three major league seasons. He played in 57 games with the Chicago Cubs in 2014, hitting .248/.295/.347 while playing all three outfield positions.
The 26-year-old was selected by the Boston Red Sox in the ninth round of the 2006 draft.
