The San Francisco Giants appear to be refocusing their efforts on the secondary pitching market after their failed bid to land left-handed ace Jon Lester.
ESPN's Jerry Crasnick says the team is meeting Wednesday with representatives for free-agent starter Ervin Santana, who is reportedly seeking a five-year deal this winter.
Santana has put together solid back-to-back seasons after his disastrous 2012, averaging 207 innings and 30-plus starts over his last five years.
