Update: Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports corrected an earlier report saying the Detroit Tigers are interested in Sergio Romo, saying that the team has not inquired on the reliever.

Romo is looking to be the next free-agent reliever to cash in this offseason.

After Andrew Miller, David Robertson and Luke Gregerson received lucrative deals, the San Francisco Giants have set their sights on Romo, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports

The Boston Red Sox,  New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers are also said to have interest, according to Jerry Crasnick of ESPN

Romo, who has spent his entire seven-year career with the Giants, said in early November that his desire is to remain in San Francisco but was looking forward to the free-agent process.

The right-hander posted a sparkling 2.03 ERA and 0.91 WHIP in the four seasons leading up to 2014 where the All-Star stumbled a bit. The 31-year-old relinquished his role as the Giants' closer and finished the season with a 3.72 ERA and 0.95 WHIP while striking out 59 in 58 innings.
