Gerardo Parra's brief tenure with the Milwaukee Brewers could be coming to an end.
The Brewers are open to moving the 27-year-old outfielder, who projects to make $6.4 million in his final year of arbitration, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.
Acquired from the Arizona Diamondbacks for a pair of minor-leaguers at the non-waiver trade deadline in late July, Parra appeared in 46 games for the Brewers. In 150 games split between the two teams, Parra posted one of the worst offensive seasons in his six-year career by slashing .261/.308/.369 with nine home runs and 40 RBIs.
The left-handed hitter projects to be the fourth option in a Brewers outfield that also employs Ryan Braun, Carlos Gomez and Khris Davis, but Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel notes that they think Parra would play enough to justify his contract if they can't trade him.
