Hanley Ramirez: Agrees to Deal with Red Sox
Ramirez has agreed to terms with the Red Sox on a four-year, $88 million deal that includes a $22 million vesting option for a fifth season, Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports.
Analysis:
The original terms were rumored to be five years and $90 million, but the total value of the final deal will be $110 million if the fifth-year option vests. Ramirez is currently penciled in to play third base for the Red Sox, but a move to left field is likely in order with the team closing in on a deal for Pablo Sandoval.
