Beltran (elbow) is expected to be fully healthy for the 2015 season, the Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Analysis:

Yankees general manager Brian Cashman conceded that Beltran should have had surgery to remove the bone spurs in his elbow earlier in the year, but Beltran attempted to play through the injury with the help of cortisone shots. His production suffered, as the ailment was first discovered in May, and he also missed time in July after being hit in the face during batting practice. Beltran is just one year removed from posting an .830 OPS, and he should be a good bounce-back candidate with health in 2015.
