Tommy La Stella: Traded To The Cubs
La Stella has been traded to the Cubs, Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Analysis:
In his first year in the majors, the 25 year-old hit .251 with 31 RBI in 361 plate appearances. The Cubs did not get much out of the second base slot offensively last season, so La Stella could potentially start there next season. Even if he doesn't start, he can be a useful bench player for Chicago.
