Jordan Walden: Dealt To St. Louis

Walden was traded to the Cardinals on Monday.

Analysis:

Walden had his best full season in the majors last year, posting a 2.88 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with 62 strikeouts over 50 innings. He struggled with walks (4.9BB/9), but his strikeout rate (11.2K/9) could make the 27-year-old a candidate for the back end of the Cardinals' bullpen in 2015.
