Giants' Strickland surrenders 5th postseason homer, ties MLB record
Hunter Strickland has had a forgettable postseason experience.
The hard-throwing San Francisco Giants right-hander allowed his fifth home run of the playoffs in Game 2 of the World Series on Wednesday, tying Chris Narveson as the only relievers in Major League Baseball history to allow that many in a single postseason.
Strickland surrendered a two-run shot to Omar Infante in the sixth inning, which extended the Kansas City Royals' lead to 7-2.

The 26-year-old Strickland faced 146 batters in the minors this season and allowed three homers. Infante was the 23rd batter he faced this postseason.
Perhaps the most memorable of the five homers Strickland has served up came during the NL Division Series when Bryce Harper hit a mammoth shot off him into McCovey Cove.
