Trevor Plouffe: (Forearm) Has Surgery Monday

Plouffe had surgery Monday on his fractured left forearm and will be ready for spring training, Fox Sports North's Tyler Mason reports.

Analysis:

He declared that he would not need surgery last week, but that was apparently not the case. Still, it's good to know that it shouldn't affect his availability next season.
