Nationals' Harper day-to-day with flu

Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper has apparently fallen victim to a flu that is going around the team's clubhouse. 

“He just came in and said: ‘I’m not feeling real good,'” manager Matt Williams told Mark Zuckerman of CSN Washington. “At this point in the season, we’re certainly not pushing that. And with the history of that we’ve had over the last few days with everybody else, we understand that if he gets it, it’s not real fun. So we wanted to get him out of there.”

Harper was replaced by Nate Schierholtz to begin the fourth inning after complaining about feeling lightheaded. 

“I think he may have the stuff that everybody else got,” Williams said. “He was a little lightheaded out there, not feeling great. So we’ll see how he is tomorrow, but he may have a little bit of the gunk that everybody else has had.”

The 21-year-old has been on fire over his last 16 games, hitting .328/.379/.623 with six home runs and seven RBI.
