Suspended Oriole Chris Davis helps victims of highway accident

Joy R. Absalon / USA Today Sports

Baltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis was out of action Monday, serving the 25-game suspension he was handed by the league on Friday for amphetamine use.

Making productive use of his time off, Davis decided to do a favor for some friends by picking them up at the airport. As MASN's Roch Kubatko reports, Davis ended up doing far more than just that.

A stand-up move by Davis, and a lucky thing for those unfortunate enough to be involved in the accident. If you needed to get an overturned truck back on its wheels, seeing this guy coming to help out would probably be a welcome sight:

Nice to know that even while he can't help the Orioles as they try to clinch their first AL East title since 1997, Davis can still help his fellow man. Hats off to a true Good Samaritan.
