Tigers' Avila not in lineup Monday after leaving game Sunday with lightheadedness

Detroit Tigers catcher Alex Avila will not be in the lineup Monday after he was forced to exit Sunday's game against the Cleveland Indians after taking a foul tip off his mask.
As expected, Bryan Holaday in the starting lineup in place of Alex Avila. Miguel Cabrera is playing first base.

Ausmus on Avila: "If this was pre-Sept. 1, he would probably be on the 7-day DL, because you'd need another C." However, he's day-to-day.

Avila, who departed Sunday's game in the eighth inning after feeling lightheaded, has dealt with concussion-like symptoms on at least three separate occasions the last two seasons.
