Davis will report to the club's instructional league team to receive some at-bats while away from the Orioles. It looks like a smart move, considering he was hitting just .196 on the season - nearly 100 points lower than his 2013 average. Facing a 25-game ban, Davis is suspended for the rest of the regular season, in addition to the first eight games of the playoffs, should the Orioles progress that far.
