San Francisco, CA - Brandon Crawford and Travis Ishikawa homered to back seven scoreless innings from Madison Bumgarner, as the San Francisco Giants beat the Los Angeles Dodgers, 9-0, in the opener of a key three-game series.

Bumgarner (18-9) gave up just three hits while striking out nine and walking two for the Giants, who moved within one game of Los Angeles for first place in the NL West.

The left-hander has won five straight starts and is tied with Adam Wainwright, Johnny Cueto and Clayton Kershaw for the most wins in baseball.
