Giants' Belt cleared for baseball activities

As expected, San Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt is officially on his way to a September return.
Belt's next step in a return from a concussion will be taking live batting practice, and manager Bruce Bochy is optimistic he can suit up in about a week.
The Giants are well positioned for a playoff run thanks to 12-3 run since Aug. 25 and Belt's left-handed power bat (11 home runs in 51 games) will certainly be an asset to Bruce Bochy in October.
