Ryan Braun: Will Start Saturday After All

Braun (thumb) was a late addition to Saturday's lineup, MLB.com's Adam McCalvy reports.

Analysis:

Braun was not in the Brewers' original lineup, but manager Ron Roenicke decided to insert him after Braun made it through batting practice without issue. Braun's thumb has reportedly been sore for a few days, so though he will start Saturday, he may not be 100 percent healthy.
