Braun (personal) remains out of the lineup Thursday against the Cardinals.
Analysis:
The Brewers will be without Braun for the opener of a crucial four-game set against St. Louis, as the 30-year-old is still away attending to the birth of his first child. With Carlos Gomez (wrist) out as well, the Brewers will be forced to start Logan Schafer and Gerardo Parra in center field and right field, respectively.
