Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington will continue his skipper duties after the regular season, even if his team is far out of the race.

Washington will lead a team of MLB players on a tour of Japan this fall that includes Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig and Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones.

The team will play two exhibitions and five games in November against Samurai Japan, the country's national team, according to the Dallas Morning News.

This is the first tour of Japan by major leaguers since 2006.
