The New York Yankees made a minor trade Thursday to bolster their bullpen for the stretch run.
The left-handed reliever appeared in 28 games for the Boston Red Sox before being released on July 1 and compiled a 1-1 record with a 4.55 ERA. He's a former starter and has the ability to eat innings in low-leverage situations.
The 35-year-old later inked a minor league deal with the Colorado Rockies.
