Dodgers' Kemp: 'I played the s--- out of right field'

Chris Humphreys / USA TODAY Sports

As the Los Angeles Dodgers continue to try to sort out their outfield alignment, Matt Kemp appears willing to accept whatever comes his way.

Kemp, who has played 80 percent of his career defensive innings in center field, was moved to right by manager Don Mattingly in a switch with the wild Yasiel Puig.

To his credit, Kemp is taking the change in stride. After making all four successful plays in right field on Monday night, an elated Kemp boasted in the Dodgers clubhouse that he'd "Played the s--- out of right field; I was real Puig-ey out there", according to Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet

The Dodgers are hopeful Kemp's positive attitude will lead to positive results at the plate. He's hitting .268/.333/.422 (114 OPS+) through 92 games.
