Robinson Cano: Out with Hamstring Tightness Sunday

Cano is being held out of Sunday's lineup due to hamstring tightness, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.

Analysis:

The ailment is apparently something that Cano has been battling all season, but aside from an expected drop-off in his power numbers with the move from Yankee Stadium to Safeco Field, the second sacker hasn't seen his hitting tail off significantly in his first season in Seattle. The hamstring issue is only expected to keep him out for one game, but considering the Mariners' hefty investment in Cano, it wouldn't be overly surprising if he missed an additional game or two as well.
