Analysis:
The Angels went ahead and held Freese out of Wednesday's game after he was hit on the elbow by a pitch Tuesday night, but evidently it was a very minor issue. Freese will slot back in Thursday to take on right-hander Ricky Nolasco, against whom he's 6-for-12 in his career.
