Escobar will bat second for the third straight game, Josh Vernier of 610 Sports Radio Kansas City reports.

Analysis:

With the Royals offense sputtering of late, manager Ned Yost has been shaking things up, and batting Escobar in the two-spot has been one of his strategies. This could be a tactic Yost uses for the foreseeable future, or at least until Omar Infante (back) makes his return from the DL. While this lasts, Escobar will see more at-bats, which should allow him additional opportunities to score runs and steal bases for fantasy owners. He already has stolen 11 bases on the season, putting him on pace for a career high.
