Analysis:

Escobar was hoping to return to the lineup Sunday but is still recovering from a cortisone shot. The seventh-year player is coming off his worst offensive season of his career, recording lows in all major offensive categories. While he's known mainly for his defense, he still has put up decent offensive numbers in the past. Escobar has only played in three spring training games thus far, as he hopes to up his numbers from last season.
