Tigers announce one-year deal with RHP Joba Chamberlain; DFA INF Danny Worth

It's official: Joba Chamberlain will pitch for the Detroit Tigers in 2014. His one-year deal is worth a reported $2.5 million.
To make room on the roster for Chamberlain, Detroit designated infielder Danny Worth for assignment, the club announced. Worth has a .622 OPS in 115 career big-league games with the Tigers.
