Zito was called upon to start after Chad Gaudin hit the DL with a hand injury. He has had a 10.80 ERA since being moved to the bullpen, and he didn't fare much better in his return to the rotation. Gaudin doesn't have a timetable for his return to the field, so Zito could be in line to start a few more games for the Giants, although he is a risky option at best for fantasy use.
