Yankees chase nemesis Keuchel early in Game 5

Robert Deutsch / USA TODAY Sports

The New York Yankees finally got to Dallas Keuchel.

After dominating the Yankees throughout his career, the Houston Astros starter lasted only 4 2/3 innings during Game 5 of the ALCS on Wednesday.

Keuchel, who tossed seven shutout innings in Game 1 of the series, was charged for four runs off seven hits and a walk. The left-hander did manage to strike out eight Yankees, but was chased with two outs in the fifth after allowing a pair of runs.

Before Game 5, Keuchel had allowed just seven runs over 57 2/3 career innings against New York, and had beaten the Bronx Bombers twice in the postseason.
