Watch: Kemp delivers 3 HRs in rout of Brewers
Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports
Matt Kemp stole all the home runs away from Eric Thames on Saturday.
The Atlanta Braves outfielder hit three homers in one game for the first time in his career Saturday against the Milwaukee Brewers. He also became the first Braves player to hit three long balls in a single game since Mark Teixeira in 2008.
Since the Braves acquired Kemp from the San Diego Padres last year, he's been impressive at the plate, hitting .303/.344/.644 with 18 home runs and 54 RBIs in 67 games.
Unlike Thames - who was, unusually, without a home run Saturday - Kemp probably doesn't need to look forward to a "random" drug test after the game.
